Important Update: Rejectless now stores your resume securely on our servers to enable enhanced features and cross-device access. Here's what you need to know:
- Secure Storage: Your resume is stored in our encrypted database with industry-standard security measures.
- Your Control: You have complete control over your data and can delete it at any time from your workspace.
- No Training or Secondary Use: We do not use your resume data for AI training, marketing, or any other purpose beyond providing you with resume analysis and feedback.
- Limited Access: Your resume content is accessible only to you and our systems that generate your requested feedback.
2) Information We Collect and Store
A. Resume Content
- What it is
- Your uploaded resume file and the extracted text/content from that file.
- How it is stored
- Stored securely in our encrypted database on our servers. Protected with industry-standard encryption both in transit (via HTTPS) and at rest.
- Your control
- You can permanently delete your resume data at any time directly from your workspace settings.
B. Service Inputs and Outputs
The Service processes:
- Your resume text to generate personalized feedback and suggested edits
- Your actions in the editor (such as applying rewrites or adding details) to create updated versions
- Analysis history and feedback provided to you
This information is stored in your account to maintain your work history and allow you to access past analyses.
C. Account Information
To provide the Service, we collect:
- Email address (for account creation and communication)
- Account credentials (securely hashed)
- User preferences and settings
D. Usage Data
We collect limited usage information to improve the Service:

- We have contractual agreements prohibiting these providers from using your content for their own AI training or unrelated purposes
- Data transmission is encrypted and temporary
Other Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party services for:
- Cloud infrastructure and database hosting
- Analytics (aggregated, non-resume data only)
- Email delivery for service communications
All service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your information to perform services on our behalf.

6) Your Rights and Control
You have complete control over your data:

- Delete your resume and all associated analysis data at any time from your workspace
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Some aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained
Access Your Data
- View and download your stored resume and analysis history
- Access your account information and settings
Account Deletion
- Delete your entire account, which will remove all associated data from our systems
- Some data may be retained for a limited period for legal compliance or security purposes

7) Cookies and Local Storage
Rejectless uses:
- Local Storage: To cache certain data for performance and offline functionality
- Session Cookies: For authentication and maintaining your logged-in state

8) Data Retention
Active Accounts
Your resume and analysis data are retained as long as your account is active or until you delete them from your workspace.
Deleted Data
When you delete your resume or account:
- Data is removed from our active systems within 30 days
- Some backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before complete removal
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
Inactive Accounts
Accounts inactive for 24 months may be subject to deletion with prior notice.
9) Children's Privacy
Rejectless is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10) International Users
Rejectless operates globally, and your information may be processed in jurisdictions different from where you reside.
