Rejectless (“Rejectless,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools to help software engineers review and improve resumes. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1) Key privacy point
At this time, Rejectless stores your resume locally on your device (for example, in your browser’s local storage). We do not store your resume contents on our servers.

B. Service inputs and outputs
Depending on how the Service is used, the Service may process:
- Your resume text (locally stored) to generate feedback and suggested edits.
- Your actions in the editor (e.g., applying rewrites, adding details) to create updated versions of your resume locally.
C. Usage data (basic analytics)
We may collect limited usage information (such as page views, feature interactions, and device/browser information) to improve the Service. This data is typically aggregated and does not include your resume content.
If you enable third-party analytics or if we integrate them in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
3) How we use information

We do not permit these providers to use your content for unrelated purposes, except as necessary to provide the service to us and as governed by their terms and policies.
5) Cookies and local storage
Rejectless may use:
- Local storage to store your resume and analysis results locally on your device.
- Cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and (if enabled) analytics.
You can clear local storage via your browser settings. Doing so may remove stored resumes and past analysis from your device.
6) Data retention
Because resumes are stored locally on your device, retention is primarily controlled by you:
- You can delete your stored resume data by clearing your browser storage or using in-app deletion controls (if available).
- We may retain limited system logs or aggregated usage data for security and product improvement.
7) Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and browser environment.
8) Children’s privacy
Rejectless is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9) International users
If you access the Service from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. We will handle information as described in this policy.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice within the Service or on our website.
